IT Academy visit at IBM

Last Tuesday, members of the IT Academy had the pleasure of visiting IBM Research Europe in Zurich for an insightful CIO roundtable. The IT Academy was represented by Khushnud Irani, Lucas F. Kuttler, Marcus Deluigi, Louise Graffner, Markus Bierl, Volker Laska and Dr. Martin Petry, who took part in the discussions and exchanges throughout the afternoon.

A big thank you to the IBM team for their hospitality and the fascinating insights into current technological developments – from AI agents and data sovereignty to quantum-centric supercomputing and IBM’s roadmap for fault-tolerant quantum computing.
We particularly appreciated the warm welcome and the stimulating discussions throughout the afternoon.
